”WINTER - a silent sleep”...
  Is a sense of losing ourselves, through the loss of the others. Winter pushes away the colors and the rhythm of life, and creates an open landscape without boundaries. There is a universe of ice and cold, where the choreographer is trying to find an internal dialogue; a reconciliation between herself and the world. Movements, images, music and voice, are many prisms, through which the death’s timelessness becomes life. The Winter’s cold and ice, gives a rest to those who continue to live.

A beautiful dance performance that investigates the magic melancholia of the winter season. A cooperation between one of Poland’s most acknowledged dance companies and the Norwegian choreographer Gunhild Bjørnsgaard. Performances is a meeting between four strong stage artists ; The Norwegian saxophonist Rolf-Erik Nystrøm, the singer/dancer Silje Aker Johnsen and the Polish dancers Małgorzata Mielech and Szymon Halik. There, exists tone and movement side by side - in a journey through of what has been, and what will come. The performance is an exploration of the Winter, through what has passed, the silence and the arising from the silence.
